Day 1: Welcome to
Romania. Bucharest - Sinaia
Arrival
in Bucharest International Airport and depart through the scenic Prahova
valley
to Sinaia, one of the
well-known mountain resorts nicknamed the “Pearl of the
Carpathians”. Accommodation in Sinaia hotel

Day
2: Sinaia – Bran – Brasov
In
the morning visit
the Peles Castle, an exquisite piece of
architecture, which has served as summer residence for King Carl I
of
Hohenzollern-Sigmaringen
the first king of Romania?
Then enter Sinaia monastery - a beautiful example of the
Valachian-Byzantine style and the first building in
Sinaia.
Continue your itinerary to
Transylvania - the land of mysteries and superstitions. In Bran
visit the castle made
famous by Bram Stoker's novel as the residence of the vampire count
- Dracula. The castle was built by the merchants of Brasov in the
14th century to protect the border between Valachia and
Transylvania. In the afternoon
drive toBrasov,
fairy-tale town founded in the 12th century by the Saxon settlers.
Brasov today still preserves its beautiful medieval atmosphere
created by many Middle Age buildings. The highlight of the city tour
is surely a visit to the Gothic Black Church, the largest gothic
church in South-Eastern Europe. Accommodation

Day
3: Sinaia – Sighisoara
In the morning departure to the wonderful town of
Sighisoara. Visit the Saxon medieval
fortress-town which has become part of the UNESCO World Cultural
Heritage as the best preserved and continuously inhabited early
medieval citadel in the world; enter the famous Clock Tower
Museum, Torture Room and the Armour Room. Visit the house in which
Dracula-Vlad the Impaller was born and have a tour of the fortress
including the Church on the
hill.

Day
4: Sighisoara – Medias – Sibiu
In
the morning depart to Sibiu, one of the richest medieval towns in
Transylvania due to its numerous guilds and the intensive trade
practiced by the craftsmen members of the guilds and European
Culture Capital in 2007. On the way, visit Medias, the town where
Vlad was kept prisoner by the Hungarian king Mathias Corvinus.
Continue to Sibiu. In Sibiu visit the Evangelical Cathedral, the
baroque style Roman Catholic Church and the Brukenthal Museum, one
of the best art museums of Romania, and the first one in
Transilvania.

Day
5: Sibiu – Sibiel – Cozia – Bucharest
After
breakfast spend a special morning in the
picturesque village of Sibiel. Visit the glass painted icon museum,
enjoy a typical Romanian lunch in a farmer house and continue your
circuit to Bucharest.
Cross the Carpathian Mountains through the scenic Olt river valley.
On the way visit Cozia Monastery - built in 14th Century.

6: Bucharest city tour
After breakfast, get acquainted with the
Romanian capital during a day city tour. The comprehensive tour of
Bucharest, once nicknamed the “Paris of Balkans”, will include
visits to the Village Museum, Parliament Palace, the second largest
building in the world after the Pentagon, the Revolution Square,
Patriarchal Cathedral, Triumphal Arch and many other places of
interest. In the evening enjoy a traditional Romanian dinner with
